Well hell, why won't that kid just die?

So, it's been over a month. I'm suitably ashamed of myself.

So, as you may have guessed, I skipped school to see Obama last Monday. And it was quite stirring I must say. He certainly knows what he's doing. And he hasn't had all the enthusiasm beaten out of him by the system yet either! And by GOD do we need that right now. So yeah, ye-ha on that front.

But going to this event had a downside too: After standing in the below-freezing weather for over an hour and a half, I became rather sick. So sick in fact, that I had to miss the ENTIRE RUN of the show I was IN. Were I a professional actor, I would never ever be hired again, ever. Anywhere. As it is, I have to earn the trust of our two local directors again, which makes me feel almost as bad as when I was sick since I respect those guys more than most teachers in the school.

Also, I have to break up with the guy who bought me a rose and skipped class to see me on valentines day.

And do a weeks worth of make-up work.

...I am a paragon of calm I am a paragon of calm I am a paragon of calm... :meditation:

Christmas and some other stuff.

Journal Entry: Thu Jan 3, 2008, 3:04 AM
Well! I think I kept my promise, and I'm not gonna do that math to find out!

So, I got a few presents, but to avoid bragging too much I'll just brag about my favorite! :D And that would be a new camera! A new Cannon 5.8-17.4mm Powershot with 7.1 megapixels! HOO-YAH!!! So yeah, I'm happy about that and you should see an improvement in the quality of my shots if I would ever get around to posting new ones.

I also got some Ukrainian tea that could stun a yak. I luffs it.

I basically just chilled for the rest of the break with the exception of finishing my Christmas work load. (Which, by the way, our school board didn't want to give us. The state made 'em.)

And now I'm back in school. Oh yeah, and I was reminded yesterday that I'm taking part in a play. "The Legacy" Is the title, and it is a black history play, and we're doing it under the direction of the author. I have yet to figure out if that's a good thing or not.

So that's what's up on my end, updates will keep coming.

Holy everloving CRAP it's been a while.

So yeah, believe it or not, I'm actually alive. GASP.

I heartily apologize for being so inactive. And I wish I could give some excuse like "I was moving" or "I was having emotional trouble", but I'm afraid the truth is rather less glamorous: I have been doing NO homework all quarter due to my own gorram laziness and have so spent the last month and a half frantically trying to finish make-up work and do my current homework at the same time.

Fun. Hopefully I won't make that bad decision again.

In other news, this is what's been up with me over the past... Since I last posted. In list form since I suck at writing this stuff out.

-I had an awesome summer in which I got to go to Colorado and hang out with my uncle, Aunt, and Cousin (Who is, in general, WAY smarter than me). Said Cousin and I had one hell of a night watching AMV Hell 3 into the wee hours of the morning, laughing our arses off and annoying his friend on the phone.

-I got to shoot a ton of WWII guns. Oh yeah.

-Supercamp was just as awesome as ever. It sounds corny, but it's really something amazing that any high-school age kid should experience. Seriously. (PLUG: [link])

-I thought I was gay.

-I acted in a high-school production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and it was great. I made lots of new friends and it really boosted my confidence.

-I just found out I'm not gay.

-I'm bi again.

-Life is, overall, pretty damn good.

And that, in a nutshell, is where I'm at right now.

I'll be updating again sometime in the next two weeks.
