This series is pretty simple and mostly intended for pose reference as a lot of them are blurry. Most of these poses were taken from a 90's "Guidebook for Marines", so I can say that while I might have gotten a couple things wrong here and there they are mostly accurate (Ha! Get it? Accurate?). I'm probably gonna do more with that book at some point.

TO USE THIS IMAGE YOU MUST
-Give credit with a link back to either the deviation or my page
-NOT be making a profit on the art. (If you are, please contact me so we can work something out. I like to eat.)
-Have made changes beyond simple filtering, color adjustments, etc.

This includes any and all uses, not just manips!

Elbows a little high for the rifle, personal preference though. I like to keep my elbows tight, but I know some guys who were successful with their arm out like that.

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that the belt wasn't part of anything Marines did, except for bootcamp. Can't speak from exact experience here, since I enlisted long after tricolors went out, but we only wear belts over our cammies for duty and during bootcamp now, for the most part. Haven't had a belt over fatigues as part of the uniform for a long time.

Also, last thing I swear, the cap is wrong. If you're going to reference the Guidebook for Marines, the photos would look better with an 8-point cover ;)
I'm done gnit-picking now. Keep doing photos and stuff. Devil's in the details, but I can't imagine that no one has benefited from your reference photos.
